Product Manager - LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Job Description:
An individual should contribute to the achievement of sales and goals by driving continuous sales and successfully obtaining new customers to augment PREMIER Biosoft LIMS informatics sales. Professionally articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify and understand technical requirements of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and after contract signing seamlessly transition over to professional services for deployment and configuration.

Skills Required:
1. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of LIMS, informatics and web-based technology is essential.
2. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must have excellent time-management skills to work with multiple accounts.
3. Must possess strong presentation skills.
4. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Should be able to communicate professionally, which includes verbal communications, written responses to emails, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and reports.
5. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Communicate constructively to management and peers with ideas or any insights to help define new approaches to product enhancements and winning together.
6. Minimum of 5 to 10+ years of experience in Informatics sales preferably web-based technologies. Sales training and knowledge of relationship selling preferred.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Build upon existing relationships and new prospects for new business opportunities with the goal of maintaining assigned levels of business and expanding new sales.
2. Responsible for configuration and conducting LIMS demonstrations for majority of prospects, while seeking help for scripted demos for larger and/or unique opportunities.
3. Responsible for representing LIMS informatics platform to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.
4. Must respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs/RFQs.
5. Must be able to convey customer requirements/demo requirements to Product Management teams and demo configuration specialists.
6. Must be able to travel to assigned accounts/territory, conferences, and workshops, etc.
7. Maintain accurate customer forecasts and projections, collaborates on plan expectations and development, and ensures that we achieve our sales goals on a quarterly basis.
8. Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy to drive informatics sales and be a team player.

Accountability/Scope:
1. Provide input to sales planning activities, including plan and updates.
2. Manage expenses responsibly for support of LIMS Informatics sales.
3. Complete necessary LIMS training and seek training opportunities unique to the sales and promotion of LIMS.

Job Responsibilities:
Software engineer will be responsible for handling all parts of our SDLC process. Beginning with Requirement analysis, Use case development, Product design, Module design, Interface preparation, Pre-compilation , Coding & Testing followed by deployment will be part of your responsibility.

Requirements:
1. BE or B.Tech (CS) & (IT), M.Sc (Comp.), MCA & MCM with 65% & above. Excellent technical strength with Core Java, Swing, JNDI, XML, XSLT, Jsp, Servelet.
2. OOAD, Knowledge of RUP, UML implementation, Systematic design principle with knowledge of Design pattern is required.
3. Good communication skills are required for inter departmental communication & client communication. Neutral accent of English is desirable.
4. Freshers are welcome & software professionals upto 1 year of experience would be taken as fresher.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Bioinformatics Scientist, the person would actively participate in domain development which includes researcher correspondences, understanding their requirements, developing sound biological domains for the same. He/She needs to do extensive Internet research on cutting edge molecular biology/genomic techniques. Researcher correspondence includes communication with scientists in US and Europe. Bioinformatics Scientists also need to interact with the development team for the development of products. These interactions involve making them understand the biological requirements, dictating the exact software requirements and testing the functionality of the software developed.

Requirements:
The applicant must be a Post-Graduate (M.Sc or M.Tech) in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Micro-Biology, Life Sciences and Biochemistry with a strong back ground in Molecular Biology. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Job Responsibilities:
A Bio statistician will develop and apply mathematical or statistical theories and methods to solve complex statistical problems in biology which are relevant with the ongoing Bioinformatics projects in the company. He/she would be responsible to study and analyze carefully the biological theories for which statistical analysis is sought. Identifying the appropriate statistical techniques considering all the requisite conditions, assist Biologists in designing and developing projects, statistical interpretation of the results. Developing the layout and structures of data input for statistical analysis, developing efficient algorithms for the statistical techniques. If no standard statistical technique is available, then the Bio-statistician is responsible for developing Statistical/Mathematical models to express various Chemical and Biological pathways.

Application and algorithm development for statistical techniques such as Cox regression, cluster analysis, principal component analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis and dynamic programming. Perform test of significance and interpret the results in biological terminology. Numerical techniques to calculate p values of various distributions such as chi-square, student's t, F, normal, beta, gamma etc.

Requirements:
1. The individual must have Post Graduate (M.Sc) in Statistics/Applied statistics/ Biostatistics along with a first class degree in Statistics/Mathematics. Good knowledge of programming.
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential & knowledge of SPSS is an added advantage.
3. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Prior experience would be advantageous. Freshers are also welcome.

Designing and conducting training modules in technical communication for software engineers & bioinformatics scientists. Writing 'invited chapters' for publication in international journals. Creation of writing standards for all staff. Editing of user manuals, online help and all other marketing material.

Requirements:
1. A seasoned professional with hands on experience of 1 plus year, in a professionally managed Bioinformatics; Biotechnology; IT; ITES company.
2. Msc/Bsc (Preferably Biology/Bioinformatics/Microbiology/Biochemistry). Or Msc/Bsc with higher education in English Language.
3. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Manage all marketing communications programs for specific programs including (but not limited to) collateral, direct marketing, channel programs, events, PR, media, online programs, trade shows, merchandising, etc. Manage strategic and tactical product line marketing communications pla, budgets and review priorities on quarterly basis with leadership. Direct product line functions (trade shows, PR and media) for a product line and report ROI.
