February 22, 2017

PREMIER Biosoft participated in Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis 2017 Conference (APA - India 2017), February 19-21, at Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre, India. Organized by the Boston Society, many leading scientists and experts participated in this conference to learn best practices in Bioanalysis, Biotransformation and Drug Discovery Strategies through a series of short courses, poster presentations, lectures, interactive sessions and panel discussions.

Dr. Sanjib Meitei, Chief Scientific Officer & Dr. Rajesh Pujari, Sr. Bioinformatics Analyst from the mass spectrometry team presented a poster "SimGlycan®: Informatics Support for Automated Characterization of Low-Molecular-Weight Heparin Oligosaccharides Using MS2 Data from TripleTOF® 5600 Mass Spectrometer". We are pleased to announce that it was awarded the second prize by the jury consisting of eminent scientists, Dr. Timothy V. Olah, BMS, USA and Dr. Peter Van Amsterdam, Abott, USA. The poster explains how biosimilars are characterized by interpreting LC-MS data of LMWH oligosaccharides using SimGlycan, an MSn data analysis tool for glycan structure identification.
